A Missions Conference to Remember

Over the past 4 days, Abbey and I were in Marysville, CA with Pastor Kerry Brown and Bible Baptist Church. The people of Bible Baptist were very kind and welcomed us to their church with open arms! Other countries represented by missionaries were as follows: Brazil, Japan and Mexico. It was a blessing to see the different fields and hear the burdens of the different missionaries who all are at different stages in their deputation. Evangelist Larry Smith spoke every night on the importance of giving to faith promise missions as well as being willing to be used of God even He called us to be a missionary to a foreign field.

With this being our very first mission’s conference, I told the people of Bible Baptist that the bar has been set extremely high as to what our expectations are for a mission’s conference in the future! We were encouraged and motivated to see the incredible amount of young people, kids and teenagers, sitting in the front as well as serving as ushers, special music and soul winners.

While at the conference, we received word that our 2nd church is taking us on for monthly support. As of now, we are sitting at 5% and have yet to start full time deputation! While this may seem like a small number, we are excited to see the Lord already making it possible for us to get to Uganda as soon as possible! Thank you for your continued prayers!
