About

Hello! We are the Turner’s, BIMI missionaries to the country of Uganda! Thank you for taking the time to look at our website. Currently, we are on deputation to raise monthly financial support. While this journey is long and sometimes strenuous, we are very excited for what the Lord has in our future! To watch our deputation video, click here: Deputation Video

Our sending church is the great Anchor Baptist Church in Burnaby, BC, Canada pastored by my father, Ben Turner. ABC has been a faithful lighthouse in the Greater Vancouver area since she had her first service in June of 2001. I am thankful that we have an opportunity to partner with Anchor Baptist in their quest to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! For more information about Anchor Baptist Church, feel free to check out their website here: Anchor Baptist Church.

Below, you will find our bios. This includes our salvation testimonies and call to ministries. Once again, thank you for looking at our website! Have a wonderful rest of the day!

  • I had the privilege to grow up in a pastor’s home in Burnaby, BC, Canada. At the young age of four, I recognized my sin condition and accepted Christ as my personal Saviour. In 2005, while attending a missions conference in Durham, NC, I surrendered my life to be a missionary wherever God would call me. At age seventeen, I went on a two-week missions trip to the country of Uganda. It was during this time that God began to work on my heart about possibly returning to Uganda someday as a missionary. In the fall of 2014, I began attending Golden State Baptist College. In between my freshman and sophomore years of Bible college, I went back to Uganda for one month. While in the country this time, I had the opportunity to teach in a Christian school, preach during the chapel hour, and witness first hand what the life of a missionary family would be like. It was then I knew that Uganda was the country where God wanted me to someday serve with my life. While attending Golden State, I met and began dating my wife in the spring of 2016. We were married in December of 2017. I graduated from Bible college in May 2018, and we were accepted into BIMI in June of that year. Currently, we are on deputation to raise support to get to the country that God has called us.

  • My life began in an evangelist’s home in November of 1994. At the age five, my dad led me to the Lord during the invitation of an evening church service. After the birth of my sister, my family moved from Texas to Indiana. While there, we began attending and serving at Greenwood Bible Baptist Church. It was here that I had the opportunity to attend and graduate the Christian school. As a teenager, I began to feel God’s call on my life as I served in several ministries in my church. In February of 2008, while attending a youth conference in Kentucky, I surrendered to become a missionary wife. As my teen years continued, I knew that I needed to attend a Bible college to prepare for the future God had for me. After much prayer and counsel from my dad, I began attending Golden State Baptist College in the fall of 2012. While studying there, I met my husband. I graduated with my teaching degree in the spring of 2016 and was given the opportunity to teach 3rd-4th grade in a Christian school in Lompoc, CA, that fall. When the school year ended in 2017, I moved back home to prepare for our wedding. Caleb and I were married on December 22, 2017, at my home church. Upon his graduation in May of 2018, we attended BIMI candidate school where we were accepted as missionaries. On December 9, 2018, our first son, Carson Benjamin Turner was born. We look forward to what the Lord has in store as we begin our journey to the country of Uganda.

Carson

  • I was born on December 9, 2018. Right now, my life consists of sleeping, eating, crying every day. Unfortunately, I am too young to know what it means to be a sinner; but when I get older and learn the difference between right and wrong, I will accept Jesus as my Saviour! I look forward to growing up in Uganda and making many friends who will help me learn multiple languages.
